Buff is a mid toned golden neutral that refers to the colour of natural, undyed leather. Its first recorded use as a colour name came in 1686 and today its familiarity is comforting although it can be used to describe several shades of the yellow/brown colour area.
It covers an area of up to 13m² per liter and can be applied using a brush or roller, depending on the temperature and humidity conditions.
