Kidde 29HD Smoke Alarm with Test and Hush Button - Twin Pack

The Kidde 29HD is a photoelectric smoke alarm which uses an optical sensor. The alarm can be used in most locations throughout the home, in particular bedrooms and living areas. It has a test button to regularly check the operation of the alarm and a silencing button (hush button) which allows nuisance alarms (such as those caused by cooking or steam) to be temporarily silenced.

The 29HD also features two anti-tamper mechanisms for peace of mind: one prevents casual removal of the alarm, while the other stops the alarm being fitted to the ceiling without a battery.

The alarm has a low battery monitor circuit that will cause the alarm to “chirp” approximately every 30-40 seconds for a minimum of thirty (30) days when the battery gets low. Replace the battery when this condition occurs. It is certified to BS EN14604:2005 and suitable for installations complying to BS 5839-6: 2013 Grade F
