Schleich Giraffe Female

Despite their camouflage markings on their fur, giraffes do not always go unnoticed by predators. But they do know how to defend themselves. To do this, they stomp hard with their front hooves. They do this especially when they want to protect young animals, as adults are rarely attacked. Anyone who has the opportunity to see giraffes up close can easily distinguish the females from the males. Females are somewhat smaller and have thinner horns with a bit of a tuft of fur. Males, on the other hand, have thick horns with a bald tip.
